The easiest way is to get a stringer they are not expensive around $10 or so.

Plus using a stringer you wont twist your limbs or break the tips off.

The only reason there are so many recurves with twisted limbs in the backs of closets and in the corners of garages, is because their owners didn't use a bow stringer. Get a bow stringer.

I'll make it a third. You should buy a stringer. That way you don't twist limbs or anything.

In the old days ,we smart archers used the push pull method to string bows and not the step through method which could twist limbs. This was before bowstringers, which I highly reccomend. I still use the pp method but Im 68 and have been doing it forever. It can be very dangerous, be careful out there. Tox

The post about stringing bows got me to thinking, so with the cost of stringers about 15 dollars (to much I think), I designed and built my own out of old shoe leather and parachute cord. They work good and I plan on using them! Cost = 25 cents each. Mucho better price. Tox
