Default martin vision

Just looking for a new bow and this one caught my eye. Anyone know about
the Martin Vision. My bow shop here carries all of the Martin line. Any opinions
would be appreciated. I' m new here and currently shoot a Check Mate hunter II.
But like most of you here i' m not happy with just the one!
Thanks

The one or two I shot felt/sounded/shot like a recurve to me. Not that it was a bad thing, but I prefer longbows. A bit on the pricey side for an over the counter bow, but they are probably one of the best in the Martin line.

I have a Frontiersman, which is similar to the Vision. It is a great bow. I like it better than several pricy custom bows that I own. I guess it also depends if you are looking for a traditional style longbow or a hybrid.

The Vision is one of the nicest Martin bows I have shot, though I do not own one.

Actually I prefer a " hybrid" (deflex/reflex, locator grip) very much over a Hill style, but some go too far for my liking. I owned a Navajo that was in the same category (to me) as the Vision, except the Navajo was a take-down. A 21st Century I had (forget which model) was also just too radical. They are fast, great shooters, and classified as a longbow in most of the shoots I go to, but if I were to go that far with it I' d go ahead and shoot a recurve--they just don' t have a longbow feel in my hand. Of course that is just me[&:]--shoot what works for you.
