Default New To Me Dale Dye Recurve

Below are a couple pics of a Dale Dye T/D recurve that I'm buying and will soon be in my possession. It is 62", 54#@28", Cocobolo riser with red and yellow accents and Medicine Wood limbs stained to match the Cocobolo in the riser.

Bob,

I'll be shipping out a 60", 58#@28" Bocote riser Dye bow today that I sold. I can't handle 58# anymore. I was going to have a new lighter draw weight set of limbs built for the riser, but at $565 plus shipping I decided I could sell it and buy the one above and have less money in it. I really like Bocote, but the Cocobolo in the new to me Dye won't be hard on the eyes.

Thanks!

Bill

Sotimes that's the best way to go. I'm sure you'll love it. Someday I'm going to have to get one for myself.

Steve Berger has more for sale on a thread on Archery Talk's classifieds. That's where I found the one above. His board name is Traditional 1.

I did something I've never done when shipping a bow. I didn't have a box big enough to ship both the riser and the limbs. So, I shipped the limbs in a box I had on hand and the riser in a tube I picked up at the PO. The limbs arrived at the buyer's home on Saturday, but the riser didn't. Now I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear from him that it arrived today!

That is one good looking bow. I think Cocobolo is by far and away my favorite wood on a riser.
