Default Gettin' harder...

Gettin' harder these days to find Easton shafts with the old swaged nock ends!

I'm not a big fan of the Uni system when shooting 'traditional.' I like the old glue on nock system!

Most XX75s have the nock ends you are looking for. I know all the legacys shafts do.

Yes it is getting tougher. Thats the reason I went with the super nocks on the dozen arrows I just ordered last week. According to the guy I ordered my XX75 2216 Camo Hunter arrows from told me I couldn't get them any other way. I don't think its like this all over but maybe it will be like this in the future. I don't like change either!!

Aluminum lovers are pretty much confined to internet dealers or special order from their local shops. I've had to special order my aluminums for the past 8 years. None of the area shops stock them any more because they sell so few of them, and if they did have some in stock they were never the size I needed.

You are right. I used to love to shoot the old green game getter, but they are not available anymore. I used to be able to shoot at a 3d target at 80 yards, end up hitting a rick and not cry about it. Now I have to kick in some extra $$$ to get the legacy. At least they are still offered in sizes needed by trad archers (I think you can only get 2020's in legacy now).

It's all about MARKETING and SALES! Yeah, I too have to mail order what I want these days. Local archery shops don't even CARRY feathers any longer, rug rests, swaged Easton GameGetters!

Whats THAT say about today's current MARKET TREND?

Thats an easy one!!! Its all about the compounder's and little about the Traditionalist. All of the big name stores like Cabelas, Gander Mountain, Sportsman's Warehouse, etc don't have a clue what traditional archery equipment is. Even the local archery shops are allot like this. It really does suck!!
