How long can a good recurve last?

hello, im new to this and am getting ready to buy a recurve but then a question popped in my head, (see title)

As long as it's not abused, a good recurve can last many years. I was shooting tonight with a guy using a '69 vintage Bear Kodiak and I've got a '65 Wing Presentation II that's still going strong. And, honestly, they shoot just as goodas, if not better than, most new recurves.

I THINK mine was made in '69. Its still excellent

Mine was made in '72 or '73. Still looks and shoots like new.

My carp bow is '60's vintage. My hunting bow is practically brand new. I bought it in the early '90's.

I have a late 60"™s vintage Shakespeare recurve that I still shoot from time with no issues.

My buddy has an old bear that dates back to '49, still shoots like a dream!
