Any Hunts Planned?

Its getting to be that time of year that you should be getting your reservations in for any hunts that you may have planned. Anyone got anything good planned for this year? My big hunt wont be until next year when I hope to go to Montana with a buddy of mine that lives out there. Hopefully the elk and muledeer will be running us over.

Other than that, this year is still in the works. I got lots of things that I would like to do, but a lack of funds may prevent it. Im still working on it though.

The big one I have planned it an elk hunt if I get drawn for the archery only hunt, other than that the normal deer hunts and a guided hog hunt.

I' ve always got plans... Moose, Bighorn Sheep, Mule Deer and Elk. However, the computers which do the draws just never seem to share my same plans.

We' ll have to see again this year.

IF THE SEASON IS OPEN WHEN I' M IN TN IN APRIL I WANT TO TRY FOR TURKEY ALSO BOWFISHING WHILE I' M THERE. MAY -GRIZZLY HUNT HERE IN AK. THEN BOWFISHING IN MO. AND LA. JUNE- BLACK BEAR JULY- BOWFISHING FOR PIKE IN AK. AUGUST- CARIBOU , HAUL ROAD IN AK. SEPT-DALL SHEEP FOR 3-1/2 WEEKS AND IF I GET LUCK EARLY HEAD BACK UP THE HAUL ROAD TO CHASE MOOSE AND CARIBOU. OCT- GOATS AND NOV. IF I SELL MY BOAT MTN. CARIBOU IN NEWFOUNDLAND IF I DON' T THEN BLACKTAIL SITKA DEER IN AK OR WHITETAIL IN " AMERICA" . THAT' S THE PLAN ANYWAY.

John, I wish I' d known, but we just filled up. The rancher only takes 4 bowhunters. We had one of our party drop out, but then a friend signed up yesterday. It' s Paul Jalon, me, a friend from the club, and a fellow from Laredo, Texas.

Turkey in NC this spring. The numbers are increasing and my shooting is improving. I' m using a Hummingbird longbow and an old Zipper take-down is my back-up. Last year a compound was my back-up(didn' t need it); but with the Zipper added to my collection, I have the compound for sale. As it turned out; last year I didn' t need any bow. Dang them turkeys get smart, fast. Nothing wrong with their vision, is it?
