I tried them out of my compound and found them to be very brittle. They are very thin walled and very light. Dick

I' ve had the same experience with them. On a glancing hit (like getting too close to a tree trunk or limb) they are more likely to break than bend. If you want a lighter arrow than a standard aluminum, you' re better off with carbon.

I used them years ago and found the same as stated. Not a very good design. I would go with the carbons. Don

I once shot the x-caliber 2212' s from my Onieda Screaming Eagle. Very fast, but very delicate... however, I don' t think ANY 2212 is very strong from the side!! The fluted shafts allowed for a stiffer shaft with a thinner side wall resulting in a light yet stiff shaft for higher speeds. Several pass trus that I reused. They accomplished that. However, carbons then became popular... light and super durable!!

I was just looking at some of my arrows and I still have 9 30" shafts. I guess I' ll sell ' em on eBay one day. With the way I shoot, they wouldn' t last very long if I fletched them up!!
