Zipper + turkey tag equals ?

Opening day last Saturday I got a big gobbler with a shotgun. This weekend, starting tommorrow, I'll go after them with my Zipper.

This should be a heck of a lot of fun

Good luck. I took the Longbow out last week for 2 days then went with the Shotgun for the other 2 days! I killed a nice Tom with the shotgun! I'll be going with the Longbow at my place in Michigan this season in May! I'll have a bit more time to get it done than just 4 mornings like my Wisconsin season!

well I hunted hard Sat and Sun, made a mistake on one bird and had a tough hunt overall. I took a shotgun Sunday and rolled a coyote, but other than that no gobbler. tough kills to notch for sure. Maybe this weekend, I'm going back. I hurt my shoulder on Tuesday, I haven't shot my bow since [:@]

Keep at it, we all know that a lot of things have to go right to get one with bow and arrow, but the stars do align every once and a while!

My son will be out for his first hunt ever this coming Saturday. He'll have his Bear Recurve with him. He's been out with me before, but he has nevercarried a weapon.
