I'm getting a PSE Impala Takedown recurve at 60 inches and 50lbs. of draw weight. I will probaly draw about 26 inches. What do you all recommend for arrows?
I like Aluminum arrows so I would think something in that 1816 range if your going with Aluminum, maybe even 1916. It kinda depends to on what weight of broadhead you plan on shooting with. My brother is shooting about the same draw length and a tad more draw weight then you and he shoots 1816's with 125 grain Magnus Snuffers and they fly excellent out of his longbow. As for carbons I couldn't tell you a thing being I don't know much about them. I'm sure you could go with a heavier set up also, this is just what works best for my brother and his set up which is similar to yours but different style Traditional bows with Yours being a recurve and his being a Longbow.
with an impala, I would call that a high performance recurve. Try the 1916 arrows. I draw 29" and at 52# longbow, I shoot 2018's. 26" you will be drawing around 45lbs, and 1916 is perfect.
Ok, now that you got those arrows. Try to buy some different points to try. Maybe a doz 125gr and dozen 145gr. Possibly 100gr, which you probably have.
