Default Recurve vs Longbow Speed

Which bow is the fastest; shot at 20 yards, 50# and 28" draw, carbon arrows matched with each bow:

Hoyt GameMaster or Matin Savannah?

I could be wrong on this but I would think a recurve would be because of the limbs. Don't quote me on this though as I'm not sure.

I have a savannah, and hands down the gamemaster will be faster. Its a totally different beast than savannah.

I just can't find anything appealing about a hoyt gamemaster.
