I'm sure this has been posted before, but is there anyone here who makes turkey feather fletching?
If so, do you sell them or trade for more turkey wings?
I'm interested in fletching some arrows with them.

It's time for Americans to stand up and take our country back, we are losing it!
Commercially, alltrue feathers usually startout as white turkey feathers. They'll dye them any color.
I make my own natural barred turkey fletchings but I leave them full length til I put them on the arrow. I have a template I use to trim them to shape after they've been glued on.
I have friends save wings for me and send the primaries to Raven Archery for grinding. Great Northern sells a "do-it-yourself" kit, but I rather pay to have mine done.
Raven also sells natural barred turkey feathers, but they are expensive.

RE: anyone make turkey fletching?
I do them, yes
I get probably 15-20 birds each spring from friends/family. I clip all the feathers, trading the secondaries for primaries, then I trade 2 for one primaries for some spliced ones (got a contact that does that )
sweet deal
I have dyed my own too - cold dye, works great. I have choppers, I liked burning better though
