Default Watching an arrow fly

Am I the only one or does anyone else love to watch an arrow fly. Occasionaly I fling one a long way just to watch it go.

Hard to do that with modern stuff though things are moving to fast. LOL

I just like to shoot arial(sp?) targets or just fling one for distance.

Is it just me?

Have you ever shot clout? Its lots of fun. I can relate to what you are talking about. I use to love to shot clout and watch the arrow fly to the ring. Or in my case, somewhere near the ring.

Yeah at GORH a few years back I shot. Ended up only having enough for one shot at the target Way out there. Funny thing was I was in the top 3. Didn't win it though. But top 3 for one shot wasn't too bad.

The steel rabbit killed me though. I think I broke 3-4 arrows trying that. I learned to make up some cheap arrows for the next time.

Love watching those arrows fly--the last shot of the day is just a satisfying as the 1st!

I love watching my arrows fly. I shoot my flu-flus skyward and watch them fall. Shoot lots of bright fletching. Easy to tell when you have a bad release.

I too like to watch arrows fly from trad gear, watching the arch and seeing if you can visualize where the arrow will hit is fun....I basically do this at shoots and watch from the far safe side...
