Default First Zipper bow

I just won an auction for a Zipper bow on Ebay. Looks like a beauty. Its a Stacey Grascup commemoritive.I think its curley maple and babinga or Bocota. Can't beat it for 335 dollars for a takedown that he said hasn't been shot. And I think its cool that Stacey signed it. He seemed like a heck of a guy and very well missed in the archery world.

is that the extreme ?

I'm a huge Zipper fan, after buying a gorgeous Extremem last year and an all bamboo one this spring.

Nope, this is standard riser. I am not sure I would want the 6.5" BH of the extreme. My longbow already slaps my wrist sometimes at 6". Doesn't bother me, just don't like the extra noise.

Thanks for the compliments.

my extreme's are super quiet, and I don't get wrist slap. Maybe its the way the grip is designed ? I dunno ..... I just know I frickin love Zippers right now.

Yea, I would say so. My longbow has a straight grip which tends to bend your arm in much more. Do you have a high grip? This looks to be be a medium grip on this bow.

Have you ever posted a picture of your zipper? What wood is it? Did you get it from Thompson or Dunn?
