Hey guys....Wanted to know if any of you have taken an animal (Deer) with flint? I did it ...and was wondering what your experience was? One thing I noticed is the quietness of the arrow on impact...nothing like a steel head or hard shooting compound....I did notice one spectacular thing though....the arrow went through both lungs at 17 yards and the deer ran 25 yards and died...
On that day I agreed I would never indulge with my buddies on the forum to talk about which heads were the best [8D]Although I still do!...
My advice to all who will listen....And I'm sure you agree....
Force an object through the lungs (vitals) and create an entrance or exit for the animal to bleed...and the animal is yours....enough said...Amazing what the indians did many years ago....
