Default I feel like a kid on Christmas eve...

Thanks to MATT/PA, I have a 55# Bear Montana on the way. It's coming with a new Custom 2 color flemish twist string as well as 2 other strings, a seal skin rest and a rubber sur-grip. As soon as it gets here, I'll be off to the shop to get what I need to build some arrows and then the learning process will begin. Matt.... thanks again!

Don't get any string silencers........I put a set of beaver puff silencers on it.

And the string is one of "LBR" Chad's and is basically just broken in. Should be good to go for many many hours of fun. Hope you like it, I thoroughly enjoyed it while it was here.

Dadgone matt, you sold your longbow? Or just replaced it with the lee bow?

I am still on the lookout for a widow longbow. Do you still have your widow?

Matt.... this is why I wanted your permission before I mentioned in the post that I bought it from you.

I was looking at a couple of Black Widow recurves on eBay.... even used, those are out of my price range right now.

Mark,
No I replaced the Montana with a custom Horne "Brushbow" I just gloss over when I hear Bocote and bamboo in the same sentence and I have really had my eye on one anyway. Found it for a great deal on Tradgang built in summer of 07' and barely shot.
Not sure yet how I'm gonna get along with the shorter overall length of 60" but she's a beauty(The Montana really fit nice at 64" so I hope I don't regret the whorter length)

As for the Black Widow? Heck no I will never ever part with that bow!! Bite your tongue. There's a little too much history there already to ever even consider it.

The Montana is going to a good home but I'm going to miss it, it was my first real good traditional bow and I shot it very well.
