Just bought myself a Samick SHT 40# AND 28DL , absolutely love it .
I never thoughtTraditional shooting would be so much fun , I'musing Port Orford cedar arrows fletched with 4" feathers and think its great . I can just grab the bow and a handful of arrowsand wack the Target ,i just gotta masteran aiming technique . Any hints or tips will be greatly appreciated .

EXCELLENT! I got my 1st Traditional Longbow last week and, like you, love it! Congrats on the purchase and happy shooting! The only advice I would be able to give is to pick a spot and concentrate on the spot. I'll pick an arrow hole. Aim small, miss small!

Good post BHF! Its instinctive shooting and thats exactly what it is, pick a spot, concentrate on the spot and let it go!! Before you know it your arrows will be going where your looking.

Good point, Steve. Arthur definitely seems to be the trad guy around here.
I swear that guy has shot or seen every Trad bow, compound bow, period! I wish I had half of his knowledge. I shoot and know my bow very well but I'm pretty grey on allot of other Trad bow companies. I've been shooting the same recurve for 13 years or so, I've never really had a reason to look into any other Trad bows. I've checked out allot of them but don't know much on how they feel or shoot. I think in the next 2 years I may be looking into getting myself a new recurve. I'm not sure what I'm going to go with yet.
