Default I'm off and running!!!

Well I went and shot the 45# and 50# Bear Montana, Viper DLX and A Samick bow. I ended up with the 50# Montana I really like the way this bow shoots! It just feels right! I got a pretty good deal for the Bow, $300 out the door with a 20% discount so I got it for $240.00. I also purchased 1 dozen CX Heritage 150's, I had 6 cut to 30 inches and left the other 6 full length in case things change down the road. My shop said I could exchange them of needed! I fiddled around and found that I shoot better with 3 fingers under, with a tab! I probably shot 100 arrows in the shops range, I really just concentrated on my form because I bought bare shaft arrows that I'll fletch on my own!

Cool, congratulations!

Just wondering, did they measure draw length for you?

Yeah Bob, my DL was right at 28" where my most comfortable anchor point! Questions... are 5" feathers the best for shooting fingers?? I want shield cut feathers, where is the best place to find them online??

5" feathers work finefor most arrows and most shooters. Two good places to buy traditional stuff. I've dealt with both and gotten good service:
