Default Ok, who's still going out?

All I have got with my trad gear this year is araccoons and a squirrel. So I have 2 more weeks to get it done, I just got over a cold, so lets go hunting. Good/bad news is I have no room left in the freezers.

Saturday morning is our last day of the season. I will be out half a day with recurve in hand. I"™ve been shooting it much better than the longbow lately so we"™ll go with the hot ticket.

Deer season ended without me killing my first trad deer. I did however make my first kill with the recurve, a feral hog. I will continue hunting hogs until it gets so hot I just can't stand it. I won't take the recurve with me every time I go but it will be the most used bow in the stable for the next few months.

I've a few more weeks to give it a go.... I've had a good season, only killed one doe, but I did miss 3 others

Probably hunt this Saturday and the next and then call it a year......

I got all these new toys this year and wanted to use em all. And spent too much time during rut when I would see 5 deer every morning with a new compound, and then spent too much time with a new pistol during gun, and now, I am concentrating on trad. I took it out 5-7 times only and hunted from the ground. I still do not shoot well from a treestand with my longbow. I need to get some groundblind material. Sometimes I would go stalking and see deer out at 30 yards. Just missed opportunities this year.

I tagged two deer this year with my trad bows. I took a hog last sat. The pic is on my phone, so soon as I upload it ill put it here. I never put my bows up. We have endless hog hunting here in Texas. Every time I need pork, I go out and arrow a hog. I shot this last one for a campout later this month.

I had a great season early on (deer, fox, raccoon, and squirrel with my longbow, rabbit with my selfbow), but have barely hunted since late October--business has been wide-open, plus trying to add on to my shop has put a real bind on my time in the woods. Hope to spend a few hours in the stand the next two weeks though.

Ya'll talking about hogs is killing me. Two of my best friends and myself started doing a hog hunt once a year a couple years ago, but it looks like the place we were going may not be available this year. Any advice on where 3 guys can chase hogs cheap with stick and string?

I'll be heading out here in Ohio. Still hoping for a doe with trad gear. Got my buck earlier in the year with a shotgun.
