Default Source for Heavy Field Points??

Anybody know where someone can find 11/32 screw-in field points that weight around 220 grains?

I know its a pain but you could add washers behind the screw in points pretty easy to get that kind of weight. Figure with a 160 screw in, 2 or 3 washers of the right metal should get ya near or above the 220 mark.

Thanks for the idea, Lilhunter. There's a guy on another forum asking for some and, since I don't have any sources, I thought I'd expand the search a little.

My husband made some a few years for a guy in alaska but they were expensive.

I would do what Dan suggested.

Funny you should ask that question. I just bought some 180 grain FT's today. First time I ever saw them and I bought all the shop had. (6) I'm tring to get a certain shaft to fly right (too stiff) and I thought they might help. We'll see...

Ace Archery Tackle (www.acearcherytackle.com) has brass points in 125, 145, 160, 175, and 200 grain sizes. Pretty sure they are glue-on only, but with adapters the 175's should work out pretty close (if you are using aluminum).

better yet, here is something that is right on to what you want to be able to do.

http://www.lancasterarchery.com/arrow-points.html

PDP already does it. If you cant find it there, let me know I can give you contact numbers to PDP about picking them up.

Lilhunter, that weight module is plumb slick. Kinda like GoldTip's weight system, but PDP's has enough weight to actually DO something. I like it. Thanks for the tip!
