If your target is really shot up, then it will cause some arrows in that shot up arrea to do this. When your arrow inters the target it is going to take the path of least resistance. I you shoot right on the line from where it is shot up and not shot up, then it will lean to the shot up, stuff. Try using a new target, or if you don't have one then buy new vitals, for yours.
