Default DECOY's: Do you use them?

Time for a new question from the bored but ever ready soldier. Decoy's, do you use them? If so which is your favorite? What is your favorite set up?

I have a flambeau ready doe decoy that I have used to varying degrees of success. I like it but man does it make it hard on a guy to get it into the woods quietly; that hard plastic sounds worse than a drunken hillrod in the woods.

Nope on decoy. Or bait for that matter. My favorite setup? I suppose that I don't have one really. I prefer to still hunt if the terrain allows. Spot and stalk is also a favorite, but I've been known to rove while deer and hog hunting or, if noise while moving is an issue, I'll set up near water/food sources or a natural funnel and ambush them.

Make em sharp and shoot em straight, or leave em home.

I've been successful using a diversionary decoy on my wife when I sneek another longbow in the door I've never tried a deer decoy. Did you ever have a deer come up that you could attribute to the decoy? I've seen them work on TV shows, but the deer around CT don't seem to react as aggressively as the TV shows.

When I'm stupid enough to leave my bow behind (like last Saturday), I seem to draw in deer from all around.

Try this:
Buy a carpet runner for the entrance(closest to your bows) whenever you buy a new one, say "this runner is looking dirty, I think I'll take it out and shake it" be sure to roll it up as you go out......shake the rug, roll the new bow up in it, and sneak it on a peg before she knows.........one word of caution. A woman has no idea what kind or brand of bows/guns you have, but she knows EXACTLY how many! It's often a good idea to trade or keep an "el cheapo" as a decoy. This can become an art form.....

Nothing works for me. The wife not only knows how many, but who made them, their lengths, draw weights and how they shoot for her.
