Default New Check-mate!

I don't mind joining the band wagon for a just cause...just got my Raven in the mail and have been shooting it with mismatched, incorrectly spined arrows. This bow is extremely smooth for 52"'s, is very fast and I can't wait to get the correct arrows. This shoots the unmatched ones so well, matched ones almost seem unfair. What a good looking, great performing bow! A Crusader is most definetely next, this little Raven performs very well!

One question, does anyone know the suggested BH? It is shooting well, but wanted to know how close I was to the "correct" height.

Thanks

Ut Oh, another one biten by the CM bug.
BJK, I just got my new Crusader on the 27th. I absolutely love it!!! I too am shooting mis-matched, incorrect arrows, waiting for my arrow building supplies to come in now. I am VERY impressed with how nice it throws an aluminum arrow. I cant wait to get the cedars, and go crazy with this thing.
I showed my partner at work the bow tonight. He is determined that he will own one just like it.
Congrats on your new Raven. I hope to put some pics up of my Crusader in the near future.

Around 8", give or take, should do it. Just takes a little tinkering to find the "sweet spot".

Here are some pics of my new "Falcon Special" Cocobolo riser, red elm limbs, 48# @28". Very smooth shooter, could not be happier. If I were to order another, I would do everything the same except I would order it from LBR.

GE, that is one sweeet looking bow. Maybe I should order one of those. Chad, do you give frequent flyer miles?

Thanks Kip, as I said, I could not be happier. I was a little unsure about my wood combination but I really liked the way it turned out. One bonus that I did not expect was the extra mass weight of the coco riser. It is a little heavier in hand than my other Falcon and I think it feels a little smoother because of it.

I'm not one for real fancy bows but I wanted something a little different. That is why I opted for a solid coco riser instead of one with a laminate through the middle. To dress it up a little, I had the overlays added front and back and I think it touched it off beautifully.

Thanks for the compliment and good luck on your frequent flyer (buyer) miles.

Niceeee Bow. If Chad or Chek Mate gave out frequent buyer miles I'd be able to fly pretty far. Good job bjk, and welcome to the cult. Just remember to send 10% of your paycheck to Chad every month to help treat the VIRUS. You will soon own many bows!!!!!
