What do you like to shoot, My wife and I both have a longbow and a breed apiece with another breed on order, I really like the royal crown great recurve grip and longbow limbs. Great guy!!!!

Dale, I haven't shot a long bow & it's been a while since I shot a recurve. I had the pleasure of meeting Ron King with Fox archery. He was a guest of my uncle during the last week or turkey season. He is a super guy. Right now I am leaning towards either the breed or recurve.

Ron talked about your uncle a lot at the TN classic, he had a great time there.
Have you ever thought about coming to a KTBA shoot in Harrodsburg, about1.5 hours from you??
You could shoot my breed and see what you think...between the two Id go with a breed, they are light and fast but if you want a recurve grip Id go with the recurve or the Royal Crown, with the Royal crown you get a recurve grip and a longbow limb. I love the breed and the more I shoot it the more I love it, not an easy bow to shoot for a first time shooter because of the the light weight but once you get it...it is a joy and deadly accurate and quiet

Dale, I haven't thought about coming to a shoot. I stay pretty busy and don't know if I could find the time. I used to shoot Bear recurves but switched to compounds. Now I would like to go back to trying traditional I looked at Ron's Breed when he was at my Uncle's. I didn't shoot it because I have a shoulder injury at the moment. He told me he would let me try anything I wanted. If I was unhappy or didn't like it to send it back. Do you have a schedule of any of the shoots? Thanks for the replys.

I'm just getting started in the traditional relm, but came pretty close to buying a "Breed" bow from these guys. I picked up that bow in a traditional archery show last year and it really felt good. Ron was very helpful, and gave me some pointers in what to look for in a bow. I'm new to Oregon, and didn't realize how close thier shop was to me. Only about 1-1/2 hrs away when the pass is open, but 3 hrs away when it isn't. I look forward to a trip thier way after the pass is open (Memorial weekend).

I went with a Martin Savannah longbow for my first bow, but as the trad-bow bug starts biting me more, I'm going to look at thier "Breed" bow again in a takedown.
