Default bow fishing?

I've been bow hunting for 12 years with a compound bow, but I wanted to get into bow fishing and I would like to use a take down recurve bow and I was hoping that I could get some tips and recommendations from you guys. I'm a leftie so that may limit my options. I like the PSE coyote with the aluminum riser because I feel that it will be more durable in the conditions that I'll be using it in. I'll be bow fishing in salt water in the hot Florida sun so I need a bow that will hold up to these conditions. Also, what draw weight would you recommend? I'll primarily be targeting mullet in the shallow flats.
Thanks.

Well, I'm just the other way around. I have an old $35 round cam corn-pound set up for bowfishing. I can throw it on the ground/rocks and not feel bad about it.

Any basic bow will do. Don't get too fancy.. you will be rough on this bow if you use it much. Shooting mullet you don't need a heavy bow, but if you go for bigger fish like sharks (taking deep shots with needed penetration).. I'd shoot a c-c-c-compound.

Do yourself a favor and get a retriever reel. Go ahead and get the slotted model so you can handle that monster ray that you accidentally happen upon. Shoot 400lb fastflite line and Muzzy heads. Make sure you use the AMS slides on your shafts for safety purposes... they prevent snapbacks which have proven deadly to shooters.

Used compound..$75 Retriever..$65 3 Muzzy tipped arrows..$30 400lb FastFlite line..$15 And you are set.
