Default Pounds Special recurve - LBR or MS people ??

Chad - do you know of these ? This is the one I got on EBAY for a great price and I've been told its a Mississippi bowyer Curt Pounds and that he died some years ago. Do you know anything about him or the bows ?? Thanks

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...973240852&rd=1

It says "Pounds" and "Special" on the upper part of the riser. It also says " Ser 238P" and "String 59" "Lng 62" "WT. 32#" Theres a insert for a rest (added afterwards it appears)and an insert for a stabilizer that looks factory. The grip has a molded rubberlike grip to it.

Looks like you won the bidding there, stealthy. Shoot, for $29.00 you can't go wrong. Hopefully someone will chime in and know something about the bow's maker. Take it to Ron and see if he knows.

Yep, Mr. Pounds was here in MS. I know of at least 3 people that shot his bows--I will see if I can catch up to them and get a little history on him.
