A Browning Wasp is a 'cheaper' recurve on the $$ scale. Usually selling for $70-$120.00 on ebay.

If your bow is shootable, you got a great deal. The Brownings are nice, light, no frills bows.
The short length makes them particularly well suited to bowfishing.

I shoot a Browning Nomad, which is pretty close to the Wasp.

Congrats on the great find!

I recently aquired a Browning Wasp recurve. My girlfriends dad had it hangin' in his garage. It is 40# @ 28" but with the stack my 30" draw puts on the limbs it is just under 45#. It seems to shoot very well for a short recurve. I am goin' to use it as my doe buster in the up comin' season. You should be very pleased with this bow.
