Default 1 over and 2 under our 3 under?

I was wondering if you all shot with one finger over the arrow and two under our do you all shot three under? I have been shooting with one over and two over, but today i shot with three under and hit about the same but a little lower but doing it this way makes it easier to look down the arrow. I can group with both but i was just looking to see what you all do.

Split finger is one over and two under....

I shoot 3 under... I like to get the arrow as close as possible to under my eye...

I also shoot split finger, tried three under once and that wasn't for me.

If you want to get the jargon down, split finger is the Mediterranean release. 3-under is called the Apache release. Don't ask me why, 'cuz neither one makes the slightest bit of sense to me either.

I shoot 3-under a lot with my compounds and I've treally tried to make the switch to it for my stickbows because it doesn't hurt my arthritic fingers nearly as much. It's hard to make the change after so many years...[&:]

Mylongbow is balanced for 3 under. I like to shoot splitfinger, but struggled with arrow flight shooting split finger also didn't like shooting (split vision) with split. Maybe a mental block.

I recently got a lightwieght recurve where I can shoot split finger, but not sure if I should pursue that type of shooting.
