Default New Recurve (pics)- Well to me anyway.

Traded one of my longbows the other day for a 2005 Great Plains Palo Duro take down recuve. The handle on this bow just sits so perfect in my hand that any kind of self imposed torque during the draw cycle is felt easily. I made two forty yard shots on boars, two on a 45 yard caribou and a 50 yarder (well it was in the neck) on wolf at the club yesterday. Well OK, I'll admit that I missed the Buffalo at 55 yards. But in any event it is a sweet shooter. It draws about 55 pounds at 29" and is 62". I got both 2020's and 2117's to shoot well with it. Went with the 2117's with 200 grain tips at the club yesterday. The riser is figured cocobolo and the limbs are imbua. Take a look.

Now that is a nice bow and a really nice quiver. Where did you get the quiver? Our did you shot it and make it yourself.

killzone, Steven Catts madethe quiverfor me. It's nice and warm in the fall/winter months, but a little too warm in the summer.

Sorry killzone that I didn't answer your question the first time. No I didn't shoot that animal, it was trapped.

Steven Catts? Is he like Cat Stephens evil inverse twin? LOL I like the bow. I like the medium browns. Supposedly my bow is an early model GP. It doesn't have any markings on it.
