Default Brace Height for Falcon Deluxe......

I have the brace height set at 7 5/8". Is this about what Check-Mate recommends? It seems to shoot smooth at this height. Also I was under the impression that Fast-Flight strings don't stretch. This is my intro into the world of Fast-Flight strings.TIA for any advice, or help.

Around 8", give or take, should work--maybe 8.5". It takes a little tinkering to find the sweet spot for each individual bow and shooter. Fast Flight does stretch some, just not nearly as much as dacron. If your string is a new flemish twist, it will have some initial settling in of the twists. Once shot in, it shouldn't have much at all.

Thanks Chad,
I set the brace height up to 8" it seems to shoot about the same. I shoot so bad it's hard to tell any difference. What is the difference between Fast Flight and Dyna Flight?

Dynaflight is just a higher grade of the same material--a little more durable, a little less stretch/creep. Dyna '97 is a larger diamter strand than regular FF, so it takes fewer strands to get the same size string. Some users have told me that Dyna was quieter on their bows, some saw no difference. In factory tests, using a compound bow and a shooting machine, Dyna was a little faster than FF, but I doubt you could tell the difference with your eyes. Lastly, Dyna comes in 21 colors--lol.

My Falcon and Falcon Special both work well at 8.25. Any less than that and it starts to get a little noisy.

GEREP,
I haven't noticed any noise at 8". I'm using Sims Limbsavers and string silencers. Also I'm about half deaf, can't hear much of anything.
How do you like your Falcons? The short period I've had mine, I'm beginning to fall madly in love with it.
