Back in march of this year a friend talked me into getting a recurve bow, i didn't think i would like it but after shooting for a few weeks i actually enjoyed shooting again. Decided to take the recurve out hunting last week and my first day in the woods with it i missed a shot at a doe at 18 yards, shot a little high. Decided to take the recurve out again tonight and after being in the woods for only about an hour started to see deer movement, a nice big spike started my way and just kept getting closer and closer finally at 7 yards a let my arrow fly it penitrated and got both lungs and the heart the deer went 40 yards and went down. To take a deer with the recurve was the greatest thrill i have had in my 25 years of bow hunting, and i hope i get the chance to take more with it, my recurve will be first on my list to bring to the wood with me now. sorry for such a long post, but i'am still excited enough to scream in joy a little more.

That is awesome! The excitement that you are feeling will only get stronger. You have accomplished something quite special and you should be very proud.
Thanks for reading my post guys, here are a couple pics, been trying to upload a few pics and i keep getting a message file is too large, anyone know what to do.
Congrats! I don't think there's any hunting experience that compares, and it's something you just have to experience to really understand. Again, Congrats!!
