Default Opening Day Picture

Here is a pic of my opening day. We've been a State of Emergency since last Firday. Today is my first day back to work since the storm and it feels like a vacation to me. Hopefully I'll get some hunting in next weekend.

Any here is a pic of my driveway:

Wow That sucks. Where are you from? I hope the wildlife will find food with that much snow covering it. Good luck.

Wow bobco, sorry to see that. Hopefully stuff get's better for you... like say... maybe... backstraps? It looks like there is still plenty of foliage on the trees for the deer, although they are pretty good at finding food.

We're in western NY. The storm only hit about 30 square miles or so. The problem was all of the green leaves still in the trees when the ice storm hit. Tons and tons of tree damage, power outages, flooded basements. I still have some of my family still staying at my house for heat, going on sixdays now[:@]. My area got about 24 inches of snow or so but that isn't rare at all. This was the ealiest snow storm in recorded history.

Just very tired of moving trees and pumping out basements. Haven't been able to even pick up a bow since last Wed. It's a treat to get back to work at my desktoday. [&:]

Wow that stinks. I heard about Buffalo getting dumped on and the leaves and snow making the trees break all over. Hope your back and other muscles aren't too sore to hunt and that this weekend will be better.
