Default hickory bow

Think i'm going to try and make a hickory bow. Is this a very good one to start on for a beginner. If not what is.

Default RE: hickory bow

Yes hickory is the best for a beginner, you can get a stave at Rudderbows.com for around $35 and they make a an excellent bow.
Good luck.
