Default Zwickey's anyone?

Anybody use these? The guy at my local shop tried his best to sell me some, I didn't buy any BH's though. He uses glue ins, I just don't feel like they are very sharp. Any input?

I've used Zwickey Eskimo 125gr 2-blade heads for years. They're easy to sharpen, tune good and I've punched them thru shoulder blades, resharpened them and used them again and again.

Very few Trad broadheads are sharp out of the packet. You'll have the pleasure of putting an edge on them- but what an edge it'll be!

Zwickeys are great heads.

Zwickeys are some of the best broadheads made.

Like traditional archey, you have to spend time on them by sharpening them yourself.

I especially liek the eskimo size and black diamond size

They are carbon steel, you can get them extremely sharp. Magnus carbon sttel are the same way out of the package.

Most traditional glue-on heads have only a factory grind on the blade bevels, and have not been sharpened. I think that is great. I can mount them, test shoot them, and then sharpen then on my own, without having spent extra cash for a factory sharpening, which would need to be retouched anyway after test shooting. With a "mill bastard" file, you can get then shaving sharp in no time.

I was thinking about using Zwickeys this year with my long bow for elk.
I used magnus before and the glue on the inserts kept comming off.
That is why I was going to try the zwickeys.I like the ones with bleeder blades also.

Do more people use glue in heads than screw-in with trad equipment?
