Some people like, or just don't mind bow-quivers. I'll admit they are very convenient, but I did not like them. It slowed my longbow noticeable.
With your 45# bow, I wouldn't think you would do anything to slow it down. The low poundage is nice for hunting, but less poundage is not a desireable option. I use a Simmons Bushmaster quiver now. Good luck with your search.
I'll have to go against the trend here. I think my recurve is easier to shoot with a quiver on it. For me, it acts like a stabilizer, and yes, it adds weight and steadies the bow. I made some rubber gaskets from a old inner tube to put betwen my quiver mounts and the bow. It seems to shoot quieter with the quiver mounted than with the quiver off!
The mounted quiver does change the balance of the bow. All the rest of the off-season,I shoot with the quiver off. But starting in Aug. I shoot with the quiver on to get used to the difference in balance.
Whatever you choose I'd just shoot that way all the time. If you use one then just leave it on all the time. I put one on once and it felt like a totally different bow.
I like them on when hunting. If you get a good quallity quiver it shouldn't mess up your shooting. It will however, shoot different than with out a quiver.
