I have a 45# Gamemaster that i am currently shooting 31" Beman 400 classics with 100 grain headsand want to switch to Alluminum.I want to shoot 30 inch arrows, and was told that 2018's were the way to go.Does this sound like the right shaft??Thanks a bunch.

2018 would be a good heavy stiff arrow.....

2018 has been for me, the "G0-TO" for general purposes. It's usually the fatter shafts and thicker-walled shafts in aluminum that can be recommended with too great a frequency. The 2018 usually causes no problems for anybody, unless you're shooting hypersonic speeds.

When I shot 45#, 2016's worked well for me. I went to 2018's, and they flew just as straight. I think either one would work.
