Default How do limbs twist?

I always use a stringer. But how do these limbs on a recurve get twisted. I hear that all teh time. Is it when you put a stringer on, the side with the cup on the end twist around?

Most of the time is how you store it, if you lean it against a wall and the room is high humidity and hot it might twist, I store mine Horizontal on a bowrack and in an air condition room, can't say I ever had a bow twist yet.

Oh, I was under the assumption they twisted during stringing or impropper stringing. when people say their limbs got twisted, they mean it twisted by itself?

Improper stringing technique is a big culprit. I'm still amazed at how many folks I see using the step thrumethod to stringtheir bows. Also as mentioned, improper storage cancause it to develope over time.

I see some store thier bows with the string on the nock groovers but backwards for recurves. Doesn't have much tension on it. I was thinking that would keep it from twisting?
