Default Trad bow shops?

Allright guys, I've been lurking long enough can any of you tell me of some traditional archery shops here in Illinois.I am really wanting to get set up to start shooting this way.I really like shooting my indian recurve bow that I bought at a garage sale a couple years back, but would like to get set up with a bow and arrowsthat fits me,and my long draw length and shooting form.Just wondering where you all thought I should start.Thank's.I might post this on another site too so don't be offended okayI actually see some of you guys at another site at times.Bill D>

It's not the biggest, but one of the best and has great owner/operators--Joe and Becky Stark at Lone Wolf Traditional Archery in St. Joseph, IL. Phone for a catalog: 217.469.7392.

Thank's guys,I apreciate it.I did recently order some videos from 3Rivers ,how to videos like bow building&string making(Flemmish).I know it's a bad word but I build bow strings for" Wheely Bows",and tune them, but shooting them is just not as fun as my recurve and would like to get my hands on one of these pretty sticks with string and start doing my own thing with them ,as I do with compounds. One thing though after watching the bow building videos, there are some really complicating and expensive tools they show on how to build them. Can't bows be made with hands tools and be good shooters too?I don't have a band saw, table saw&drill press to make the jig. Also where do they get all those lamenated pieces?I thought this stuff was supposed to be simple

You can build a selfbow with basic tools--try the Traditional Bowhunter's Bibles (set of three). There's several other good books out about building selfbows, and if you can make it to the TN Classic at Twin Oaks next year you can get a lot of hands-on experience in just a few days.
