what is the best shaft to use and can you only use 3 feathers or do you have to use four?

Default RE: Flu Flu arrows

I've used fluflu's made from wood, aluminum, fiberglass and carbon. Doesn't matter as long as the spine is right.

You can use any number of feathers. The fewer, the faster and further the arrow will go. The more feathers you stack in there, the slower and shorter arrow flight you get. I did an 8-fletch once. Wouldn't hardly shoot from one side of my yard to the other.

I used to takeone whole split turkey feather and spiral it round and round the shaft to make fluflu's. Worked really well.
