Default Lam Bow order of build

It's spring break here in northern Michigan. I recieved my bingham projects recurve a few days ago, and planned to borrow the schools jig and oven. Since school is closed i have to wait a week to make the limbs. The shop instructor told me to shape the riser. The instructions from bingham tell me to cut the fade out, make the limbs, tiller the bow, THEN shape the riser. I don't think it will really matter what order as long as i don't mess up the fade outs. So can i shape the riser this week, and make the limbs next week.

It is spring break here in wisconsin too. I just finished my 3rd oak bow. Is it a 1 piece or a takedown? If it is a 1 piece you need to glue it all together first before you shap. If you look in the instruction booklet, you will see to shape the riser for the shelf and grip, you will need to cut through the fiberglass in those areas. If it is a takedown, you can make the whole riser now. What type of wood are you using? Please post a pic when it is finished.
