Default Met E. Donnall Thomas tonight!!

He was the guest speaker at our Mississippi Bowhunters Association Annual Banquet and the man is a wealth of traditional knowledge...... I could have listened to him for hours.... We don't get to meet many of the big names in this part of the country!!

I ran off and left my Longbows in the Far North[:@] I was planning on having him sign it....

Cool! Wish I could have been there--was shooting a tournament in TN today. Missed my chance to meet him last year at the TBOF state shoot--he was gone before I knew he was there--just my luck.............

Have had the pleasure of sharing some e-mails with him--seems to be a really nice guy.

Wish I could make the TBOF shoot again this year--loved it last year! Just too dang far.......I was already in FL last year, so it wasn't a big deal to hang around a few more days for the shoot. Hope to make it back eventually!
