Default bow stringng question

Hello,
I receintly bought my first recurve after years of gun hunting. I use a stringer, however, the other day I accidently let the string flip around to the front of the bow on one of the ends while stringing. I immediatly unstrung it to take the pressure off. My question is this, could the limb twist later on down the road from the pressure of stringing it improperly once? I looked it over and it appears okay and it shot fine the next practice session.

Thanks in advance!

Default RE: bow stringng question

If you twist a limb, it would happen immediately. If there were no results from the incident, there are no residual affects. Just be careful in the future.
