Default Polar bears, Wolverines, and Caribou

Well we are home again. Lots of storys and many pictures. Lots of game seen, few caribou. I'll have pictures up in the near future as its the first time with the CD's. And yes, I have 2 1/2 rolls of film of a polar bear, a wolverine (2 firsts), and a friend with a caribou. Not to mention, Muskox, and some North slope pictures.

Dan Thats great. I can't wait to get together and check out some of these pictures. Maybe we can do some predator calling in a month or two. I'll try to give you a call this week.

sorry took my pard out fishing for grayling and silver salmon today. Almost ran over a prudy red fox to boot! Gonna hang around the house tomorrow morning and get these pictures on the puter!

Jim,
No it wasnt Steve. It was a guy we met up there. Allen Boling from Elmendorf. His first big game animal other then a whitetail. Purdy cool Loel and I thought!

Josh,
Have you been chasing those steelies yet? If so I want reports, being the unemployed fella I am, I can go fishing hehe. Btw, if I do head down, I'll drive Loel back down and we'll both go. If not he is going to fly back to Anch.

Thanks Mike, I'll get the storys posted soon.

Dan,

You are having entirely too much fun, taking too many hunting and fishing trips, and making a few of us who live somewhat south of you pine to be in your shoes! Is that called jealous??!!

I'm glad you had a good safe trip and made it back home. How's the weather in your area? We have been unseasonably and unbearably warm down here in South Carolina, until today. I doubt it will hit much over 70 today. Still not hunting weather, but the best we've had, by far, since the season opened here in the Lowcountry on August 15th.

Bill,

You can never have TOOO Much fun eh ! btw, thanks for the email. I have to do it while I can as the day will come when I can't! The old man keeps telling me I have to grow up someday and get a real job. I keep telling him, I just be having to much fun........

The pictures are up. Arctic Adventures, and a couple from the visit with Glenn St Charles. I have to scan some more pictures of Glenn's shop. Life's getting a bit busy again, so give me a few days. I again, HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend going to see the shop in Seattle and visiting with Glenn himself while the chance for both is still there. The shop will be moving to Chatfield Mn in the future. I am unsure what will happen to the bowstore but what we have today, will be gone in due time! After visiting with him I am truely humbled to say the least!!! A true Living Legend!

Here's the link and I hope ya'll like them. Btw, in the next year or so keep your eyes posted. I'm humoring the thought of writing the adventures of 2002, good notes, and a ton more photos.

Good Job w/ the pics. I really like the three of you all in your whites. Looks like a fine animal too. I'd have to say I would be happy with a bou like that as my first big game. Nice winter mane. Now stop slacking and go find you a job!
