Default Got My BDSS!

Just got my Black Douglas Super Swift last evening. This morning (after calling in my last remaining sick day for the year[8D]) I took a guess at nock & brace ht, then headed out back to start the fine-tuning process...this is the result of the 1st four arrows I shot, distance approx 20 yds. Broadheads are flying great too! I may bareshaft tune later, but for now I think she's ready to hunt!

Here's a picture of the bow all dressed up for hunting:

Man, this is one heck of a bow - I think I'm in love!!

Sometimes theymake a bow that just doesn't have any misses built into it. Looks like you got one of 'em there.

She sure is purty.

Thanks guys. I won't bore y'all with details, but after spending most of the day shooting it I gotta say that it really is a very remarkable bow.

Arthur believe me, I have a way of making even the best of em miss quite regularly! [:@]

Man alive Vic--how do you decide which one to shoot? Another nice 'un to add to your arsenal (you sure you don't want to adopt me?).

From the looks of that target, a feller is liable to think you had an obsession with killin a 'bou!

Aw my foot--you might pass that off on somebody that hasn't shot with you, but not me! Folks, I've shot a few arrows here and there with him, and I firmly believe he could string up a broom handle withkite string andkill a deer, and most folks on a 3-D range would have a hard time keeping up. You might have to paint a spider on that broom handle, but he could shoot it!

Besides that, you done messed up and put up that picture--now you tell me how in the world that big 'ol hole, dead center of the vitals, got shot out by somebody that misses? You is busted bud! Now quit being so dang humble and admit it--you are one heck of a shot!

Oh yeah--congrats on the new bow!

Chad

Chad, thanks for the compliments, but didn't you notice all the other holes in that target?
