Default I hate to ask this

I have been watching for this question to come up and it hasn't since I found this forum so, I figure everyone already knows the answer except me. The reason I haven't switched from those clanky aluminums to wood arrows is I don't know how to change out the fletching when they get worn. With aluminum, I just take a knife and whack 'em off, clean the area and refletch. What's procedure with wood. I know if I took my knife and tried to remove the quill from a wood arrow I would end up cutting into the wood. I've been thinking of getting some arrow wraps and just peeling everthing off and not having to cut, but I don't know if they affect arrow flight. Any help would be appreciated.

The wraps would probably work just fine, or use fletch tape. The tape holds great, but you can remove the feather without ruining the finish if you need to. Never used wraps myself, so I can't give any advice on whether or not they affect arrow flight.

I highly recommend using fletching tape. I haven't glued a feather on an arrow in three years now. The feathers stay on till you peel them off. And they come off fairly easy when you do decide to peel them. No messing up your crown dip, except for the little dobs of glue you put at each end of the feather to anchor the ends down.

Never used wraps either, so I can't say yea or nay about 'em.
