Default truflight or gateway feathers

iwanted to try feathers on my arrows to see what they looked like and shot like,,so i sent an email to truflight and got some free feathers to try and the look much better than vanes,,and also shoot better,,i sent an email to gateway and i am waiting for them to arrive in mail,,but i was wondering who yall like,,Tru-Flight or Gateway??

I have no problems with either outfit. I tend to prefer the base grind that Trueflight uses. I think they're a bit more consistent than Gateway's. But both are a heckuvalot better than vanes.

Yup, same as Arthur says. It's just a little easier to fletch the trueflights. My current favorite feather is the trueflight maxifletch.

I regrind ALL my feathers now- it does take a while to do, but I can get the bases square and thin. I take them down to around 1/64" or so.

With the best will in the world neither Truflight nor Gateway can trim (natural, organic, inconsistent) feathers perfectly square and thin, and still sell them to us at a price we can afford.
