Looking to spend about $300 on a new bow. Any brands to look into or look out for ? I'm shooting a ben pearson hunter now 40#'s @ 28". It was my dads and from 1967 , so wanna put that away for my son & get a new one. Thanks for the help...

You can find plenty of good bows in that range..... I suggest you take your time and do your research......... Visit other traditional forums as well....... You can find out about any bow out there by just spending a day on the internet.......

Ofcourse the thing to do is attend some shoots and try some bows out.....

For that price you could get a custom on built to your specifiactions. Go to recurves. com and talk to LBR on this site.
