Default Quivers. Have you ever...

adapted a compound bow quiver to be used on a recurve?

At this point I'm too cheap to spend the jack on a nice $70 clamp or strap on quiver for my recurve. So I'm wondering if it's possible to simply do the same thing with my compound quiver?

Has anyone tried this? How did you go about it? What were the results?

I bought a little cheap Kwikee Quiver for longbows and recurves. It cost like $12. It uses rubber clamps. It's a 2 piece deal that usesthe arrows to hold it together. Definitely cheap, but will do what I want it to. I will take it off once I'm at my stand site. For stalking and etc, I have a Cat Quiver.

If you have inserts in your riser, you can use a compound quiver. If you don't have inserts, you can buy them and install them--it's not hard, but it is a little nerve wracking. You can also get an adapter that straps on. 3 Rivers has it for about $23.

I had thought about drilling and tapping inserts into the riser, but it's my brother's bow. He'd probably be up for it, but I don't really want to be responsible for doing it. Assuming this stick bow thing sticks, I plan to eventually get or make a different bow and will get a good quiver then.

I couldn't sleep last night so I devised some home made strap on attempts in my head. Just need to go look at the bow to see if they'll work or not. Worst case, I'll just carry the quiver along with me.
