Idaho archery elk hunt
Good morning you guy's. Just wanted to say thank you for all the great information that you shared about me archery hunting elk in Idaho. I had a family emergency and had to come home a week early, but my hunt was excellent. In six days of hunting, I called in 4 bulls, 9 cows, and saw a black bear and about 25 deer. On opening morning, I called in a nice 4 point that I could have taken at 18 yards, as it turns out, I should have. I talked with several local hunters that were getting no response to their cow calling, but I hiked in about 3 miles and would bugle and grunt violently several times in a row, which seemed to get them going.
