Default tie on nock?

i just finished putting on a tie on nock with dental floss and i need to adjust it alot say you can just twist it up or down but i tried and it will not budge or do i just have it on to tight?

I've never used dental floss for a tie on nock. I'm assuming that the dental floss maybe too small of a diameter and is getting inside/between the serving, of if you put too much glue on the knot, it may have soaked though into the serving. I usually use serving thread or a piece of an old string for a tie on nock.

Same as BobCo. I use dacron and never had a problem. give it a try.

I prefer dental floss because it doesn't move. I've had nocks made from string material and serving thread twist themselves up the string as I shot. So, I use a brass nock to find out where I need my nocking point, measure it, then take off the brass and tie on the dental floss.
