Default Bowhunting October Whitetails

I just bought this video and I can't remember if I had ever seen it before. If so, it was many moons ago.

Anyway, I found it to be a very good video. I laughed my head off at those 2 clowns. They really know what it's all about they portray it well on film. Some of those running shots were unbelieveable!!! They would be booed out of the industry if they tried that today.

I also learned a few things about deer movement that I really never thought about. Overall it was a very good video.

Thanks to those who I have seen suggest it in the past....ie LBR

That Barry Wensel is very funny but his shots are awesome.I met his brother at a local store and he is very down to earth. He was on his way home from Canada after having eye surgery,it was about 1:00 am. I look at him and was shocked to see some I looked up to. He's is noted auther and a celeberity in big whitetail hunters.I think that video is one of my faverites.

It's a classic, that's for sure. Genes books are even better.

Its a great video! I had rented it some 15 yrs ago and then someone on this forum remembered the name and I found Bowhunting October Whitetails video 1 & 2 both on ebay for like $12 new!

I just purchased another copy this week! The Wensel's are known for their keen instinctive shooting and this video proves it can be done!

Glad you like the vids as well - they are are great.

I was amazed this guys had so much success hunting from the ground vs. treestands (which I had used for 25+ yrs with good success). Now, I have taken up a new challenge - hunting with the recurve from the ground blind! Its mobile, and I can position myself daily to take advantage of the wind changes easily!

That is a GREAT video! Back before this stuff got out of control. I have 3 of their videos from eon's ago. Great stuff , glad you liked it DC I would love to hunt with the Wensels. Probably my first choice if I had a chance to pick someone to hunt with.
